세계 최대 규모 몰입형 미디어아트 전시관 '아르떼뮤지엄 부산' 개관! Arte Museum, an immersive media art exhibition space, opened its newest branch in Busan. Created by Korean media design company d’strict, Arte Museum launched its first venue in Jeju Island in 2020. Since then, it has expanded to Yeosu in South Jeolla Province, Gangneung in Gangwon Province, Chengdu, China, Hong Kong, Dubai and Las Vegas, and has welcomed over 6 million visitors worldwide. The Busan branch is located next to P.ARK on Yeongdo Island. It is the largest in the world, covering 5,600 square meters. Exhibits at Arte Museum center around the theme of “Eternal Nature.” The artworks use various media technologies and visual creativity to display natural phenomena. Arte Museum Busan presents some of d’strict’s most famous works, including “Wave” and “Waterfall Infinite.” There will also be 16 new exhibits unveiled for the first time, including “Circle,” “Ice,” “Seed” and “Tornado.” Finally, Arte Museum and the Musée d'Orsay have collaborated on a unique exhibit that allows visitors to see some of the Parisian museum’s most significant works. To celebrate the grand opening in Busan, the museum is hosting a half-price discount event at the souvenir shop and cafe until the end of this month. A free shuttle service is available from the parking lot at Busan International Cruise Terminal to the museum.
